Browser support

Which browsers work, which don’t, and why.

Scriba is tested and supported on the latest two major versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, and Arc. It works on Chromium-based browsers on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Known caveats

• Safari 16 and older don’t support the highlight anchoring API — upgrade to Safari 17+ for full functionality.
• Brave and other privacy-hardened browsers may block the analytics ping; this is fine and does not affect the app.
• Reader Mode extensions can interfere with tag-to-brief; disable them on scriba.live.
